Synperonic PE/L101 is a concentrated polymeric alkoxylate which destabilises water-in-oil emulsions and helps prevent emulsion formation. It’s defoamer and wetting agent properties make it ideal for the removal of oil and drilling fluids in cleaning process’. Synperonic PE/L101 can also be used as a component in dewatering and desalting formulations in both the oilfield and the refinery. It is recommended for use at 10-1000 ppm and is known to have a fast mode of action, making it suitable for separation vessels with shorter residence times.
The Synperonic PE series are a group of non-ionic block copolymers. The products are formed from variable levels of ethylene oxide/propylene oxide (EO/PO) monomers. Differing effects can be achieved by varying the levels of alkoxylation.
The Synperonic PE names represent the levels of EO/PO in the product. Synperonic PE is followed by a letter which describes the physical form of the product at ambient temperature, then a number which indicates the size of the PO core and then a second number which shows the level of polymerised EO.
